I did not need to show my TDAC today when I came in on a none O visa. The IO said that it was linked to your visa, if you put the visa number on the TDAC form. I was questioned about what country GBR was thought.

my last 3 transfers have taken about 10 hours. Previously was almost instant. My friend says his Revolut is the same so could be the Thai banks.

They have a withdrawal limit, with charges if you go over.

For a second year extension, it just has to be an international transfer of a minimum of 65,000. If you want to use the 65,000 for your first extension, the rules are different, and has to be verified income.

Get a none O solely for the purpose of opening the bank account. Then when you return home you can start to transfer in the 800,000. Once you have the money in the account, on your return, you can apply for a None O in Thailand, then get your one year extension when the funds have been in the account over 2 months. This is what I am doing later this month, opening a bank account, ready to return to retire in December.

they don’t actually check. But you could just make a refundable booking if you want, you don’t have to travel on the date you say. It’s valid from the date of issue. Same with the flight, you can just put the flight that you plan to take.

I have just received my None O visa, I only gave one address. My form only asked for one address.

for the first year you will need 800,000 in the Thai bank account. It needs to be in for 2 months prior to applying for the one year extension. The None O that you get in the UK, is to allow you to open a Thai bank account, and deposit the money for 2 months. The visa issued in the UK is only for 90 days.

The O A is for 1 year, but requires insurance, and criminal records checks.

it will have to be a full copy of the original, photos are not accepted. You can show a savings account statement, or 3 months of current account statements. But must be showing income of at least £1,500 a month.
