Hi .. I have been coming in to Thailand on a visa exempt ( 60 days) . Each time , my stay duration is from a week to 45 days . Never overstayed . I will be applying for a non O ( 3 months + 12 ) and bank account using an agency in Bangkok the next time I fly into Thailand . However , that would be my 7 visa exempt entry this year , and slightly less than 180 days in total . I was told I would not be allowed in . Can anyone confirm this? I have also bought return tickets which i won’t be using once my non O is finalized . Can someone who has experienced going into Thailand more than 6 times in a year , tell me their experience and how I should deal with it .

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about the possibility of being denied entry into Thailand after their seventh visa exempt entry within a year, despite never overstaying. Other commenters shared mixed experiences, with some recommending obtaining a Non-O visa before arriving and highlighting that immigration officers may take multiple entries into account. Suggestions also included ensuring the reliability of the agency handling the visa application, and some shared their own experiences of frequent entries without issues. Overall, while previous experiences have varied, it seems advisable to secure a Non-O visa from a home country prior to travel.

Apply for the non O on the Thai E-visa website, before coming to Thailand, that way you won't have any problems crossing through at immigration, you can also open a bank account on a non O, you can't on a visa exempt stamp, some immigration offices won't issue the initial in the country non O, and will advise you to visit an Thai embassy in a neighbouring country, doing as others have suggested will be a lot cheaper, than paying for fast track safe entry, and doing the whole process with an agent, buying return tickets is also not necessary.

Get the Non Imm O before you arrive, it will make everything so much easier

Who told you that you would not be allowed in? Based on what? If legitimately concerned just reach out to

TVC was the one who informed me about the possibility of being flagged this time when I come in . Yes I will probably use the fast track with TVC

You should get your Non O from your home country Thailand embassy before travel and then you won't have any problems..

Did immigration tell you that you wont let back in? What is your passport country Before i got my DTV i would come 10times a year and spend between 7-30 days. Just depends on my work schedule. Immigration never said a word to me about it. I have a US passport. Not a beg packer

Why not get your non-o visa in your home country before you arrive instead of coming in on Visa exempt

I have done 7 visa exempt in a year before, but only stayed 10 days each time. Never had a problem. But I would recommend getting a none O before you come. Makes everything easier.

Get the non O before you come.

exactly then no need for an agent

Please make sure that the agency is reliable, as 80%+ are simply gonna take your money and run. Most agents are fake agents, they do not exist. 6 times a year or 20 times a year doesn't matter. With your history you might get denied, up to the officer. They are especially harsh at Bangkok. My advice is to contact an agent and get Safe Entry / VIP. For 4k baht, the agent will get you into priority line for quick passage, no question asked, at the airport.

Would using the VIP fastrack service of Bangkok Airport Limousine

be another option? After your post, I started to do some research on fast track entry and I probably should have used a service like that a couple of weeks ago when returning to Thailand.

That is only fast track, and not prescreen / safe entry.

You can use our fast track + safe entry on the 2nd page of the TDAC here:

hi - the agency told me I would be flagged for coming into Thailand using visa exempt entry for more than 6 times this year .. and that I might not be allowed in

have a place to stay, a return ticket and a reason why you come so much. Do you have a job in your home country? Do you have a business card and maybe a paystub as proof or company email they can test right away. They send an email and you receive right there.

I literally just left a few days ago for the 7th time this year. I stay from 10 - 40 days. No issues at all.

it's certainly a risk. But what is the agency's solution? Do they want you to pay them more money to help you get into Thailand? If that's the case it should tell you all you need to know.

Why don't you just apply for the non-O visa from a Thai embassy and then you'll definitely have no problem entering Thailand. And then using an agent for the extension should be significantly cheaper as well. Did they mention that option, or they want to maximize how much you're paying them?
