Thanks for that great information. My extension is up on the middle of September. So i figured a month before apply is this correct as in the middle of August? Did they make a home visit like the original extension. Thanks again.

I am married over 17 years and have a son both have western passports as well as Thai. The IO arrived to our new home and asked to speak to a neighbour. My wife called to our nearest neighbour he came and the IO asked him do you know this man he said no but he added i hear his voice all the time lol. So nothing to fear they just follow a process and tick the boxes.

I have flown both airlines Chaing Rai to Bangkok to Surat Thani many time in the last few months and never asked.

Go to the local land office and inquire regarding usufruct as Lloyd has mentioned. I only did this recently on a family property and I was granted for life use of the land this was written on the chanote cost me zero bht.
