TLDR : Answer Summary
90-day reporting in Thailand varies based on the immigration office. Typically, you might need to fill out the TM47 form and provide copies of your passport along with your latest immigration stamp. Some offices may just require to see your passport directly. First-time reports must be done in person at the immigration office; later reports can often be filed online. If you arrived on an eVisa, it’s advisable to bring a printout of that as well.

If you came on an evisa you may want to bring a print out with you.

Just bring your passport along. And if not the first 90 days report, bring the receipt of the former reporting as well. Easy.

, if you do it online, do 2 weeks before you need to do. It takes about 3 working days or longer if there are public holidays for them to get back to you. In case they say your report is rejected, you still have time to report in person. I reported online a few times but went out of Thailand. When I came back and 90 days later, I sent my report and was rejected. Luckily they allow 7 days late so I came to the Immigration Office the next day.

The website says you have to physically have to go for the first one.

In CM, there is a drive-through.

Sorry I did realise it was his first. I actually did my first online with no problem but each region seem to have different rules. But if he trys on line it either be accepted or rejected with a reason why.

Like many things that will be dependent on which office you use. Some will want you to fill in a TM47, some will want copies of your passport and latest stamp too. Some you just hand over your passport.

You can also do it online.
