thanks tod, that is my understanding too. I am squeaky clean in thailand. I don't even think illegal thoughts. LOL I am very nervous about anything illegal in thailand. not even break speed limit. LOL

Tod, where are the best places to get over 50 (retirement) without a police background check? I have explained my situation here before, so knowing this would be helpful. Thanks.

OK. I was just confused there for a bit. In truth, more than a bit. I read here every day to try and keep up on things and when I hear something different than what I have planned after asking for advice, I want to check it out. This is all pretty new to me since alot of my time here was on medical stamps and I have no idea what those are. And don't want to know, either since I cannot get another, anyway. OK, thanks. Savannahket i think is different than Ventianne. Everyone here say not bank account or ticket out of thailand necessary in ventianne. Kind of scared me there for a minute. LOL Thanks for getting back to me.

Alexandra Woynarowich Were you asked to show booking for stay and money in thai bank account in Ventianne? Common advice here is that you do not need those for SETV at Ventianne. Not true? You get SETV at Thai embassy? JB

Not to worry. I know about officials a bit since been here since Jan. Don't give them anything to be concerned about. Got it. I already have passport photos and always take plenty of money with me. Think I might take 3 days since I might like to hang for a bit. Maybe longer. Thanks very much, again.

Thanks Glen. Would it be better to stay more than a few days. This is not a problem. I don't want to be rushed and I will probably have to arrange transport, so time is not an issue.
