I have it worse than that. I did not do last year's tax yet. Not bad. But, for 2015, I was, letz say, not paying attention. The state of california garnished 1500$ out of my banking account with a 75$ charge to do so. I did not file taxes for that year, but I had O (zero) income. I lived on my marriage settlement, so it iz easy to prove. But now they have the money and getting it back will be oh so easy, I am sure. They guestimated what I made from previous years and just took the money. now, I could have been paying attention. But I wasn't, so now I have this problem. And trying to fix this from thailand. Well, can be done, but see above, will not be easy. LOL Itz my own darn fault, too. JB

Having a heart failure 5 days after I got to Thailand without having the Volunteer group having me on International Insurance was the big hurt. Everything was out of pocket. Now, not as bad as being in the US, but still money I did not expect to be spending. So, thatz kinda why I need a little discipline. I did not party all the money away. Kinda spent money to save my life. LOL JB

Thanks for the info, MH. I did not know that. I am behind in my IRS reading. Itz so easy to put off. Fortunately, people like yourself save me from myself. i will look into it. But itz still not a problem to get visas that carry me into next year. I have yanked enough money out this year anyway. It's time I had a little discipline and stop spending money like a drunken sailor. LOL Thanks again. JB

And thatz why i am going to holiday in Siem Reap and not worry about my visa crap. I will head up to Nong Khai and over to Ventianne and get it done there. I freaking hate paperwork anywhere I see it and not having to have it makes me break out into a cold sweat and almost have hope for the human race. LOL

Tod (moderator) just recommended Ventianne for my problem today or yesterday, I mean. For an SETV. Big difference.

OK, probably better for Laos then. thanks. I will just vacation in SR, soak up Angkor Wat 2 times and have fun with the woman. She has a shopping itch she needs to scratch. LOL

Well, I have to start somewhere. Limiting taxes in the states is first. Will worry about Thailand after that. Thanks for the assistance. JB

Good, very good. I am going to Cambodia, but to Siem Reap, not PP. But I read there are agencies that can do the consulate thing for you from SR. I will look into that right away when I get there. If not, will go to Ventianne for a few days and get it that way through the consulate. No worries. I just wanted to make sure I ran this stuff past you guys as due diligence. Thanks again. JB

Yep, thatz right Tod. 2 land entrances are done. Flying in and out is OK. I just have to find the least expensive, I am only partly made of money, despite my girlfriend's thoughts of the opposite. LOL Thanks. Again.

thanks SG, that was a couple of things I was looking at. I do want to travel around SE Asia, so that is not a problem. Single entry could be good also. I am just looking for the best options. Thanks for the input. JB
