have u tried to get a cheap retirement visa for Cambodia n u can bounce between Thaïland n Cambodia. My RRSP is non redeemable n I will leave it there till 71 in 3 years. During my DTV I will get a Cambodian retirement so every six months I can have a holiday instead of extending.

you can use TFSA if it is redeemable n I asked bank to give me a letter to confirm. I used DTV for 5 years instead of retirement visa. You don’t need to transfer to Thaïland just have $20,000 in bank in Canada. I brought some cash n pay purchases with credit card n pay bills in Canada.

You have lived there for many years what is the best insurance company that bill directly to the hospital because in an emergency situation you do not want to be stuck. Some insurance companies are not good at paying claims. One of the being Canada Life and they bid low to get all the government contracts and then they turn around and quadruple the premium and refuse to pay many claims.
