I will say though — unless something has changed, this hasn’t been my experience. We used the same account with the roughly same amount of money to (successfully, obv) apply in Jakarta.

my wife and I have a shared checking account that we keep $15,000+ in. It has both of our names on it. I made two copies — one for me, one for her. The officer didn’t seem to mention anything about it. We may run into an issue later, but he didn’t bring it up. Are you guys in Phuket?

I think I actually spoke with you at Immigration last time! Thanks for the info. I’ve got a bank statement from the month leading up to this one (Jan-Feb) and a printout of the current month (statement not released yet) — both 500k+. Nervous I’m missing something else, though.
