Do you pay upfront? Or do you pay on pickup?

I seem to remember someone saying they paid the visa fee at pickup, and that would be super convenient for me as I’m needing to exchange money.

just applied today in Jakarta — will make a post soon.

I think I was actually remembering someone saying “if you make a mistake, they let you leave and go fix your mistake before paying” so payment is the last bit and isn’t the cost of entry.
