some places offer “expedited” extensions for 3000, or guaranteed ones for 10,000, the documents they each require can be quite different as well.

Not even sure what point you’re trying to make at this point or how it’s relevant to what the basic question is 🤷‍♂️

I remember them emphasizing some of the rules especially when they were trying to discourage the Covid extensions being abused but I’m pretty sure I’m remember last year it being technically the same. I’ve had 3 Covid extensions and the process and paperwork no two were the same. I’m sure there’s offices now where you could get a Covid extension without the standard 30 day extension, but you’ll probably pay more.

Still a likely irrelevant point given it sounds like he’s asking about the full Covid extension vs getting a 30 day “under consideration stamp”, but the English is a little broken

that’s not what his question is, he’s talking about the “under consideration stamp” which can be 14 or 30 days, and I’ve gotten Covid extensions without doing the standard 30 day extension.

I believe it’s 500 baht a day, never done it myself but most of the season thailand travelers say a couple days shouldn’t be an issue.

uh….the Thais don’t buy insurance because if they get Covid it’s covered, so yes they are not targeting the people that don’t need to buy it 🤷‍♂️

I was paying under $40 a month for insurance, and that was when it was 50k.

The Thai insurances are incredibly overpriced
