What are the current options for changing my visa in Thailand, and how can I avoid quarantine upon re-entry?

I need to leave Thailand in order to change my visa. Are land borders available. I also have Covid a couple of months ago, so chances are I will still test positive on the RT-PCR test coming in. Can I get an exemption from the hospital that tested me to avoid the PCR test coming in. Any advice for me on how to avoid quarantining when I re-enter Thailand?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster seeks advice on changing their visa in Thailand while having recently recovered from Covid-19. Community responses indicate that land borders are currently not open, directing the poster towards flying to Phnom Penh as a viable option for a visa run. Concerns about testing positive on an RT-PCR test are discussed, with suggestions to obtain a Covid recovery letter from a doctor in Bangkok to potentially avoid quarantine. Additionally, crossing over to Laos is mentioned as an alternative with options for processing time and quarantine bypass.

You can pay a little and come to Laos . Takes about 7-10 day to process visa to laos πŸ‡±πŸ‡¦ .

can help and you can cross over via Nongkhai Border. 2 days QT require or send PM for NO QT .

Where do you even get your info from, majority of people stop testing positive after 3-4 weeks

just heard there was a risk, i still tested positive a month after and I was never sick. Just being overly cautious maybe.

Guess it depends in spin rate.

get a Covid recovery letter in Bangkok from Dr Donna so when you return and it’s (+) they will release you . If no letter , prepare for 10 days QT

If you got Covid two months ago it's highly unlikely you will test positive. I tested negative just a few weeks after getting it

I had Covid in early Jan and took a PCR test in mid Feb, it was negative actually.

No land borders open. Easiest way for visa run is fly to Phnom Penh from Bangkok. You will need a new Thailand Pass to re-enter.
