Yes, the banking regulations have put a 50kthb transaction limit on line transactions. It came in in Junish, affects all banks

 funny enough in the x years I've had it, its one of the first times its been useful. But with the bank changes it may well be needed. BTW I only used the book because it was first on the menu. I could have used my pink card or driving licence.

Depending on your passport you are visa exempt for 60 days which can be extended for a further 30 days at immigration for 1,900THB
