Kasikorn bank gave me the document I needed for IO... 3 hundred baht... had to deposit one hundred baht to ensure update was current..

LA Thai embassy asked for a letter from Thai family... relayed this info via Whatsapp and received a letter within an hour.. uploaded it to LA Thai embassy.. approved later same day.

What fee does the bank of america charge? my credit union would charge $25 to transfer internationally ... I use wise.. cheaper.. and I only use the debit/checking account.. transfer from savings into debit/checking before doing the wise transfer of funds.. never transfer from savings....

what is interesting is that Wise will not transfer money from Thailand to US bank account... says in chat messages that Thailand not allow... Kasikorn to US bank account not allowed...

I applied for the Non O visiting Thai family on line with the Thai Embassy in Los Angeles.. only thing they asked extra was a letter from the family accepting me as their guest... cost was approx $80... 90 days... same day uploaded the letter and was approved same day..

when you received your initial year retirement visa with the 800k in the thai bank.. you should have started the monthly transfer of the 65K at that time... then supply the immigration with bank document showing one year of 65K deposit from outside Thailand.. when you go for renewal of the retirement visa.. looks like you are going to be starting over with the initial 800k in the thai bank..

Just arrived chiang mai.. non O visa.. for family.. was not asked for return ticket or onward ticket seattle.. EVA airline. No problem with immigration chiang mai.
