Ian Carman Yes it does, you either pay tax in Thailand or the U.K. not both. I understand how tax exiles work, they go through a company and only pay compensation tax.

Ian Carman Yes you can, Thailand has a double taxation agreement with the U.K. you can go non tax in the U.K. but should pay tax on any money you transfer to Thailand,

Rene Ordman We got stuck in the U.K. during Covid for 15 months. We applied every month for extension which was granted. I was apprehensive last year when she applied they might say no because of this but the Visa was granted no problem.
