Yes make sure you have the covid recovery form from a doctor, that way if you do test positive you have the letter saying you have had covid.

We did our insurance for our visa obtained in Sydney with a Thai company AXA no problems did it all online. You need insurance to get into Thailand check out the Thai Embassy Sydney website they have a list of insurance companies you can use. No problems.

The airlines have their own rules for flying from one country to another. Once they have landed then the rules of the country you have flown into comes into effect so you have to abide by both rules

I have read that there’s been people doing exactly what you are thinking of doing and have been denied entry back into Thailand by immigration.

Depending on how many covid extension you have done they are coming heavy down on this.

Some people have been advised to go back to their home country and get the correct visa to stay in Thailand
