TLDR : Answer Summary
Yvonne inquired if she needs to re-register after returning to her rented house in Phuket from a 2-night stay in Krabi. According to the comments, it is necessary to file a TM30 when returning from an out-of-province trip. Users advised confirming this with the immigration office or checking with local expat groups, as Phuket requires re-registration to avoid fines. Several commenters reported quick and convenient experiences with the re-registration process.

In Phuket yes, so if your house owner, landord has an internet connection or may use yours, they can do it online or download the app. Or as mentioned use the drive trough in Phuket or walk in and do it in person. Good luck.

Phuket immigration do request reregistration. If you are motorised you can (preferably) use the drive in without new paperworh

Unless they changed their minds again in the last six months, Phuket does require you to file after out of province stay. If you go in person with your passport and previous TM30 slip that should be in your passport, they will quickly update it. (You must have the previous slip and of course be returning to the same address).

I've just done reregistering same address in Phuket and using drive thru at immigrations. Very convenient and quick. They simply updating the TM30 slip in your passport. Took 5 minutes.

just so you know, at the end of the day YOU are the one that gets hit with the fine of not having done a TM30 on time..

Why notgo to the immigration office and ASK if you need to re-file a TM30 for in country travel.

OR

post on a Phuket related f/b page (of which there are several). I'm sure you'll get the correct answer.

I think you mean they should have their land lord go file a TM30 or they should go themselves. Registering WITH their landlord isn't gonna do anything if the land lord doesn't go file a TM30 for them :/

Unless I'm wrong Phuket DOES want people to go re-file a TM30 when they come back to their primary residence on in country travel.
