Get a one year multiple entry Non O visa in your country at a Thai Embassy or Consulate

That will give you up to 15 months stay 90 days at a time (you have to do a border bounce every 90 days)

Then you can apply for a one year extra inside Thailand

I think your were supposed to file a new TM30 within 24 hours of your return from abroad either online or in person at your immigration office

If they have Thai ID they can get Thai passport at a Thai consulate in the US and effectively have dual citizenship

The Thai consulate in LA gave us a handout with the addresses to mail our marriage certificate to get it authenticated had that translated into Thai at a place across the street from the consulate called SSR services they also helped me get my multi entry O visa based on marriage

Not we brought it to the small district office where my wife grew up and had her Thai ID from

It is my understanding that the Thai consulate in LA certified it as a legal document and they stamped it before we moved to Thailand

I had the same situation

I am an American citizen and my wife is a Thai National who lived in the US for 22 years

We were married in the US and the Thai Consulate in LA gave us an instruction sheet to get our marriage authenticated first by the state we were married in and then the US state department and then have it translated into Thai and then the consulate in LA certified it

Brought that to Thailand to the government office where my wife has her Thai ID from and got our Thai marriage certificate and my wife got a new Thai ID in her married name

I am living in Thailand now on a one year extension based on marriage and when we applied for that the immigration office in Prachinburi wanted both the translated US marriage certificate as well as the Thai marriage certificate

I was told in Prachinburi by the IO do not travel during the in consideration period

This was 4 months ago

They came to the house unannounced and then a few days later they called and wanted us to bring in our US marriage license translated into Thai even though we provided our Thai Marriage license at the time we applied

yes need the map and everything else you mentioned plus the application and everything in duplicate including application also about a dozen pictures with you and your wife around the house making sure to have one in front of the address

I highly recommend going to the immigration office with your wife before hand and they will give you all the instructions and yes they are very nice there
