I had to do a 90 day report on July 9th but i skipped it because i flew out of the country on July 11th. I returned on July 24th and i just noticed that i still have the same 90 day paper in my passport. Was i supposed to go to immigration when i returned to get a new 90 day slip or can i just show up around Oct 23rd? I was planning to remove the old slip (but hang on to it just in case) and go to immigration before Oct 23 and show them my re-entry date, but i wanted to ask if I need to handle it differently.

I have a 5 year elite visa and this is the first time I left the country since I got it. I live in Pattaya if that makes a difference.

Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user skipped their 90-day report due to traveling out of Thailand. After returning, they question whether they need to obtain a new 90-day report slip or can return to immigration on the expected date. Comments emphasize that the 90-day count resets upon exit and re-entry, but the user may accrue fines for not filing the report before leaving. There is also mention of the necessity to file a TM30 form within 24 hours of return.

I think your were supposed to file a new TM30 within 24 hours of your return from abroad either online or in person at your immigration office

Your 90 days resets when you exit/enter the country, so no need to keep the old slip. However as you did not file your previous 90 day report, you may be liable for a fine when you next report.

Scott Kevin you dont get a new slip at the airport... you can throw the old one away... you'll be given a new one next time you report. Immigration dont need a slip... they will go by the last entry stamp. (and new TM6)

Yes, that is what Elite visa told me when i asked. My question is: was i supposed to get a new slip when i returned or can i wait until the 2weeks before-1week after window and arrive with no 90 day slip in my passport and show them the date i returned?

Richard Clark i sent an email to elite visa before i left and they said that since i was leaving the country during the 1 week period after the 90 day check i didn't have to do it. It would re-start when i entered the country again.

Your 90 day report is due 90 days from the date of entry. You can do it up to 15 days before the report date or 7 days after. So your previous requirement fell within the 7 days grace period... no fine and can be completely ignored. Your new 90 report needs to be done from your new entry date.
