TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for the initial 90-day Non-O visa based on age, there is no seasoning requirement for the 800,000 baht. The funds need to be transferred to a Thai bank account in the applicant's name before applying for the visa. The seasoning requirement of 2 months applies only when applying for the yearly extension after the 90-day visa has been obtained.

There is no seasoning requirement on the 800K baht banked money when applying for the initial 90 day Non-O visa. The requirement is that the funds need to be transferred into a thai bank account in the applicants name only from abroad and be in the account on the date they apply for the Non-O visa

The 2 month seasoning comes into play AFTER they have the 90 day Non-O visa and are applying for the yearly extension only

Hi Todd, hope I am not hijacking the post….. seasoning of the money is 2mths before the initial yearly extension, as you just stated….. what about subsequent yearly extensions? Is it still 2mths before and 3mths after, and not dropping below 400,000 at any given time throughout the year? Cheers

yep, you need to have the 800K baht banked money in the account 2 months before you apply for your extension, it needs to stay in the account for 3 months after the extension is granted and then the balance can't go below 400K baht the rest of the year
