I would amend your excellent description to add that the insurance has to be from one of 14 Thai companies and that they are selective as to whom they insure.

Trifecta.

1. I know nothing about business, so I invested a large sum of money in business.

2. I don’t speak Thai, so I invested in Thailand.

3. Instead of a competent, experienced, local lawyer before, I decided to go to Facebook for expert legal advice one year later.

Thai people can surrender their passport or ID card some places for short trips. Other places or deep penetrations they get a stamp.

Non ASEAN citizens get a whole page sticker and a stamp to Laos (2 pages wasted).

Half my passport is 3 trips to Laos.

I put ฿803k in a fixed deposit account at Kasikorn and have never touched it. I did this 2 months after my last extension.

I used an agent and they only wanted to see the bank book (never updated) and bank letter in CM.

They didn’t care about statements.

I earn either .5 or 1.5% (can’t remember).

I read here frequently people are denied and that is the reason cited. Surely it would be prudent to carry for multiple reasons as well as meeting all the other entry requirements?

Make sure you have a paper copy of your outbound ticket and at least ฿20,000 in THB or equivalent, just to be safe.
