Do I need to keep all my 90-day check-in receipts in Thailand?

Is there any reason to save every single 90 day check in receipt?

Or, is saving the most recent receipt, or the last four receipts enough?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Most respondents agree it's unnecessary to save every single 90-day check-in receipt. Keeping only the most recent receipt or the last one should suffice, as previous receipts are typically removed at immigration. Additionally, some commenters suggest that reporting is not critical, since it resets upon leaving the country and fines for non-compliance are relatively low.

No point at all

Honestly there’s no real reason to do 90 day reporting at all…it resets if you leave the country and the fine is only 2k if you don’t do it, be that 90 days or 9000 days…there are no other consequences from not reporting

the fine is up to 5k

even if that is the case it’s $150 you really don’t have to pay as most folks leave the country from time to time and it resets and there’s no check upon departure

Interesting.

I would assume not having done any 90 day reports would make it quite difficult to receive a Certificate of Residence in order to accomplish every day tasks like open a bank account, purchase a vehicle or renew a driver’s license.

I would also assume a failure to report would negatively impact my annual visa extension application?

you won't get a yearly extension at Changwatanna Imm office without a current 90 day report or a passport stamp showing youve been in country less than 90 days.

yes, don't listen to the comment warriors. The fine is set by the IO and might be 5k. Do the reports online and keep the confirmation email, even you most probably won't need them.

I’ve never had a problem w any of these things and I have never done a report…been in bkk since 2007

Every time I go to immigration to do a 90 day report they take the old one out of my passport and put in the new one so I'd say only the most recent is required.

Keeping only your last one should be fine.
