I only know one guy who went through Laos last week. They asked for a current bank statement, not 6 months.

The 2 guys that I've spoken with from the US received their Visa's within 15 days using only the documents stated on the consulate website, nothing extra as Vietnam requires. If someone wants to snag the DTV quickly then go through Laos and not jump through hoops at the Vietnam consulate.

Try a different country that uses eVisa and submit the required docs yourself.

Lawyers are a big source of angst currently nay saying this visa as anyone with a business is paying them every month for services, bi-annual audits, WP, and the actual business visa renewal. If you're only doing business outside of Thailand and you already have a Tax ID with credentials to login and pay taxes if seems foolish to continue lining the pockets of lawyers when the DTV is simple to acquire and maintain.
