I believe there was a 1 week delay when Thailand announced a clarification to the requirements, otherwise, it probably would have been 2 weeks like others experience before I submitted an application.

I applied through LA. One additional document (current pay statement) was required. Visa was approved in 3 weeks.

that's bullshit. I've had in person conversations with the guy in BKK that recently received his visa and he said nothing about using an agent.

What guy? What DTV were these people going after? The reports I've read and guys I've actually spoken with have not had any issues getting the DTV for remote work with only a current back statement.
