Not just visa stamps, I did my 90 day report about 4 weeks ago in person (as the online no longer works for me after changing my passport) I took a quick look at the date after i got the report slip back, looked good so went home. Just a few days ago, I checked the slip again just to confirm the next report date, and realised I had suddenly become S************ Choudrey an Indian national. Needless to say another quick trip to immigration was required.
You don't waste a day at Samut Prakan doing your 90 day report, I have never spent over 30 minutes there for 90 day. Even my one year extension is usually less than one hour.
Samut Prakan can be a mixed bag, on my last four 90 day reports I have only been asked one time to show my TM.30 and that was back in January. You don't need to update your TM.30, but you may need to show them you have one on file.
