I am on a Thailand Elite visa, which has several years left, but which I need to transfer to my new passport, as the old one is expiring at the end of the year.
The TE office told me that I need to submit to them my latest TM30 form before I can schedule an appointment to have the visa transfered. My landlord has done the TM30 report for me once over a year ago, but nothing since then.
The title of the form I need to give TE is "NOTIFICATION FROM FOR HOUSE-MASTER, OWNER OR THE POSESSOR OF THE RESIDENCE WHERE ALIEN HAS STAYED".
Does my landlord need to re-submit this form for me at the immigration, given they have done it for me once before, albeit a long time ago? Is there anything I can do to get this done without their involvement? Or if I need them to do it for me, what exactly do I need to tell them to do for me?
EDIT: I live in Chiang Mai.
Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is on a Thailand Elite visa and needs to transfer it to a new passport, requiring a current TM30 form. They inquire if their landlord must resubmit the TM30 form even though it was done previously, and if there's a way to proceed without landlord involvement. Comments suggest that a TM30 can be self-filed with a lease agreement, but advise to have the landlord handle it due to complexity.
One more question, if my landlord fills the TM30 form for me, does he have to be present himself to submit it to immigration, or can I bring it with me when I go to transfer the stamp to my new passport?
You need to contact the TM30 section in Chiang Mai. have your land lord call them and ask the questions himself OR you go down there with your lease and see if you can do it on your own.
It seems I can get my landlord to do a new form for me. The last time I arrived was in August this year, so assuming that he just writes me a new form I think I should be all good then. Thank you for your replies.
Thank you. The post says BANGKOK ONLY, I should have specified in my original post that I live in Chiang Mai. Do you know if I can still do the same thing here?
