A friend of mine visited CW immigration today to do his 90 day report. He was 2 days overdue and was fined for being late. I told him he should not have been charged as you have 7 days after the actual date. Is that not correct ??

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user discusses their friend's experience at CW immigration where he was fined for being 2 days late on his 90-day report. The user believes fines should not apply as there is a grace period of 7 days after the due date. Other commenters share their experiences reporting late without fines, reference rules from the immigration website, and suggest asking for a receipt if fines are enforced.

why would you get a blue piece of paper? That's a receipt for something and 90 day reporting is free..

If you feel you are being charged and you don't think you should be ask for a receipt, I had an experience once and the lady backed down.
