Must be from a company that is on the Thai governments approved list. They all issue policies that specifically cover the minimum requirement and will issue a certificate to the effect.

Thai law is designed to look out for Thais. Sure you can share a lot but it’s wise to as much as possible keep your assets safe. Share living expenses of course but not your core wealth

Check the Thai embassy site for nationalities allowing visa exemption. Then she’ll get 30’days most likely with one extension allowed. If you’re thinking of her working her - ain’t gonna happen

Leave the furniture behind. Leave as much as you can behind and buy it here.

Hire a company that specialises. They will likely include a small facilitation fee for customs and even if you are relocating some items will still be dutiable. Do not even bother with alcohol. Drink it before you leave.
