There are desks for Visa on Arrival but ignore these as you qualify for Visa-exempt so just go to passport control and hand in your passport and boarding card. You will be stamped in for a free 60 day entry
There is no restriction on how many times you can enter Thailand visa-exempt. There used to be a two times only restriction by land but that was cancelled when the 60 day visa-exempt entry started.
Interesting post thank you. I get my eyes checked every two years and I use the optician at Asda Supermarket in the UK. The eye test is free as I'm over 60 years and my varifocal glasses and decent frames costs about 1800 baht
Get a DTV. It lasts for 5 years and you can come and go but cannot stay longer than 180 days unless you buy an extention. One of the criterior for getting a DVT is visiting Thai wife or children
