, correct. I confirm after trying to move UOB account from BKK to CNX! Stupidity in the system! Also cannot transfer FX (foreign exchange) to THB online, can only do in branch office, But, can transfer FX to overseas online???????

Exactly! Banks are weird. My Citi Bank account was sold out to UOB who now tell me I have to visit a branch office to transfer from my GBP account to my own THB account!!! Cannot do online! Bloody Singaporeans!

As an aside, I got a BE1st debit card when I opened my account at age 73. Two years later the card was “eaten” by an ATM and on asking for a replacement card I was only allowed to have a cash card as I was then over 75!
