I manage and pay bills in other countries from my transfer account into any country, their maybe because its geared for western people, only go where takes cash, simple.

It's very easy, cash is king, that's how thailand operates!

Good post report for all to be aware of and yes logically it will come where the funds are asked for proof of. Too many have gotten, but only have that amount for 5 years. They are definitely starting to tighten up.

Can I borrow money from a family member for the Thailand DTV workcation bank statement requirement?

But if your working and earning you will have income, this you need to prove. The 500k needs to be in for between 1 and 6 months depending. If you extend base it on the fact you need to show this money still available.

Best bet would to keep at least that balance.
