someone posted the other day saying they called the embassy in London and they were accepting 3 month courses in different areas. Goes to show that until you try you won’t know. I think I might stick with METV to start with and maybe apply next year for the DTV when things are a bit clearer.

I was under the impression that it was 6 months in, 6 months out and only one extension for the year over 5 year period. I may be mistaken?

Yes I’ve read that’s an issue. I will have to use an agent I guess. If all goes to plan I intend to try to get through the visa paperwork without an agent. How hard can it be! 😂 Thanks Brandon. Your advice is always solid.

Just spent a month here on my own and have to leave on 3rd May. My head is clear here. I am tired in the UK. If I manage the 6-8 months I will then consider retirement visa. Don’t want to rush into it.
