TLDR : Answer Summary
SuperRich and most currency exchange services in Thailand only accept cash for transactions; they do not convert funds from credit or debit cards. While some banks may allow card usage if you're an account holder, the general practice at exchange counters is cash-to-cash conversion. ATMs are available for withdrawing cash, generally accepting international cards, though they may charge fees. Expats are advised to have Thai bank accounts for easier access to funds and better rates.

Don't sweat it. Money exchanges on every corner (cash only). ATMs have English options. Probably best conversion will be from these.
all good. Most places will take major credit cards except discover. Discover isnβt a thing in Thailand really except maybe the major hotels. Youβll only need cash for Tuk tuks and street food. Everything else will take your card mostly. Go to an atm so you have some cash, otherwise chill and enjoy your stay.
Let's do the math. They take like 0.5% on conversions against major currencies (varies a bit but that is a common edge). Would they then be willing to finance a 3% edge to a financial services company? No right - they'd be looking at a loss.
Best to bring as much cash as possible. Some bank cards charge as much as $55.00 USD for cash advance of a few hundred dollars. I used my money to prove it. Leave that card in your wallet and only use for extreme emergencies.

you simply have to get you maximum amount everytime you use a atm, The Thai bank takes 220 baht + what you cardsupplyer charges.
And choose "no conversion"
If the atm, doesn't show you max amount, Choose "other amountsβ
