TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a DTV visa from the UK, there is no strict time limit for how long the money needs to be in the bank. It's recommended to have at least 500,000 THB available, but adding a little extra is advised due to the exchange rate used by Thai authorities. One user reported successfully having their application accepted after transferring £11,000 just a day before applying.

There is no time limit, they told me. Final balance should be 500K THB....Add a bit more though as they use an OTT exchange rate.

thanks Andi. I am trying to find a Muai Thai gym that will supply docs for less than the seemingly standard 6 months.
