Flight to Kuala Lumpur for £50-60, stay a night or two then back to Bangkok for a 60 day exemption

TM7, TM2, TM30. Passport photo for application along with photocopy of your passport and entry stamp. Did mine two days ago and took about one hour. Few to immigration is THB 1900. Not worth using an agent for such a simple task

thanks for this but my return flight ticket 89 days after arrival and incomplete provision of confirmation of accommodation caused the Thai Embassy to reject my 60 day TR application. I’d been hoping that the exemption increase to 60 days would have been introduced by the time I arrive but it has not appeared in the Gazette yet so seems unlikely

many thanks, that’s just the advice I needed. I’ll cross back over to Samui and apply for an extension 3-4 days before expiry of exemption. Thanks again

I’ve done this twice in the last few years. Immigration waved me through on both occasions with no 500 baht fine. Happens a lot im told as many travellers don’t allow for the fact that the day of arrival counts as day one
