Thanks Tod. So I take it I can arrive with a visa waiver ( ex aus ) then rock along to immigration and get a 90 day non-0 and then extend for a year each year. I have a Thai bank account, do I just keep a certain amount of baht in there permanently which keeps Immigration happy?

There is one ATM that lets you withdraw

B each time..from memory it is Krungsri ( yellow one ) The 220 baht withdrawal fee gets up my arse, that's a lot of money to pay. This is why I keep a shitload in my safe.
