Yeah that’s weird, for me it worked. I’m married to a Thai and have been to my bank in Thailand to confirm my identity and phone number.

Just set up a new bank transfer. The same happened to me and I just set up a new transfer to that same account and it went in in 20 minutes

Cheers for the advice! Should be relatively straightforward 🤞🏼

I got mine in 3 days from sending the application

All Thai banks charge you 220 baht to withdraw money, plus your home country bank charge. You can take 20,000 baht out the ATMs at a time, it’s probably your cheapest way, check the prepaid cards you can get that might not charge you to withdraw money, (you’ll still get charged 220 baht from the Thai banks) i used to use Revolut which gave me “free” withdrawals from ATMs, I still paid the Thai bank charge though.

ok that’s great! Yeah I was referring to the sticker visa I got from the embassy, it’s says valid until 17th sept but the immigration stamp says 29th September. I’m

Planning on leaving before the 29th anyway and I didn’t want to extend my visa just for 10 days.

Thanks for the quick response! Much appreciated.

that’s great. I’m flying to Japan for work next week. I booked an appointment this morning. Thanks for the advice, I’ll bring my passport.
