I just did my extension last week at Phetchaburi immigration in Cha-am, they require the money to be seasoned for 2 months before you apply for your extension. But to be safe just ask your local immigration office what they require.

Why do you not apply for the METV( multiple entry tourist visa) before you fly here will certainly make your life a lot easier, especially with the proposed clampdown on visa exempt entries just announced.

no you cannot live in Thailand on tourist visas year after year as you asked.

You are correct, as long as it is a minimum of 65,000 baht a month arriving every month into your bank account and shows it comes from overseas, it doesn’t matter what day of the month it arrives.

No if you are staying less than 60 days you don’t need a visa, you will get a 60 day visa exempt stamp when you land. But you will need to fill out your TDAC online.

good, but you don’t need a 12 month bank statement for a Non O visa based on marriage to a Thai National, as the required funds of 400,000 baht only need to be seasoned for 2 months prior to your extension. I have been on this visa for many years and just recently extended it again.
