TLDR : Answer Summary
The seasoning period for the 400,000 baht required to renew a Non-Immigrant O visa based on marriage to a Thai national is generally two months, according to some local immigration offices. However, some offices may require three months, so it is advisable to check with your specific local immigration office for the most accurate and updated requirements.

a word of caution here the extension happens in 2 stages the first being the application followed by an under-consideration time. however, i advice people to keep the 400 K in the account until your extension is stamped in.

I just did my extension last week at Phetchaburi immigration in Cha-am, they require the money to be seasoned for 2 months before you apply for your extension. But to be safe just ask your local immigration office what they require.

how about saying what office you applied at because the actual seasoning requirement in the police order for bank money method marriage to a thai extension is 2 months before you apply for the extension.

If an immigration office is telling you it was 3 months they're just yanking your chain because it is most definitely not.

As a general rule (as in the Police Order), the seasoning period for your funds for an extension application based on being married to a Thai is two months as of the application date.

But some offices may ask you to have three months. Better to check with your local immigration office for their latest and detailed requirements.

just being supportive to your reply, Ratchaburi is 3 months. A couple of years back Samut Prakan was 2 months.

Some immigration offices also have different requirements - two months for the first extension and three months for subsequent extensions.

the confusion comes with renewal ....it's 2 months before the application date .... but you can apply 1 month before expiration date ...hence 3 months if you apply early
