Apparently in Savannakhet they require a document from the MOE that Vientiane doesn’t require. I have faith they can get it done.

Joseph Michael Pedro III He told me they wouldn’t process it without it. But they would accept a copy sent to me by email. It will take the school a couple days to get it ready, so I’m stuck here in the meantime.

Ajarn Andy Robinson it’s possible, but if the MOE doesn’t require it, why do they? Seems like such a waste, but then again, it is Thailand. Nothing truly makes sense here. It’s completely up to interpretation.

Well, they screwed me!

I’m here waiting for some obscure document that they requested from my school which isn’t even a requirement from the MOE as my school called them. All of the other teachers didn’t have it and had no problem in Vientiane. I wouldn’t recommend here for a non-b visa. Such a waste of time as I wait for the school to process and send it here.
