I agree, tried many times to do it online without success. This new website seems to have sorted that. Did my report late Wednesday evening and the acceptance email was there when I woke up Thursday morning 👍🏻

I can confirm this through bitter experience. I need to extend my Elite visa at Jomtien and the elite people told me 45 days before. On the strength of this advice I got the appointment booked for a few days time then booked a hotel in Kanchanaburi for a few nights as we're having a short holiday. Then I stumble over this post. Just emailed Elite and they have replied saying they made a mistake and as you say Jomtien is 30 days or less. Not the end of the world and I can cancel the hotel but what a pain in the ass. Thank god for Facebook (sometimes) 🤔

The Elite visa rep who met me at the plane on my last entry seemed to suggest my visa should go in new passport. Not sure I fully understood her so I'll ask the question before my next entry. Not the first time Ive heard this though so there may be a move to get all visa stickers put in new passports. Until then just carry old and new passport.
