Do I need to present my TM6 arrival card at every 90-day report while on an elite visa in Thailand?

Hi, I'm currently on a 5 year elite visa and will switch to extension of stay due to marriage once it runs out. Because of my work in the UK I've never been in the country long enough to do a 90 day report. Now it's possible I'll retire so no need to leave the country. My question is, do you have to keep presenting your Tm6 arrival card at every 90 day report? Does it ever become irrelevant?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The TM6 arrival card must be kept and used for filing the 90-day report even after multiple submissions; it does not become irrelevant. While transitioning from an Elite visa to a marriage extension, it's essential to retain the TM6 as it contains a number required for ongoing reporting.

My last TM6 has been stapled into my passport for over a year. I took a photo of the TM6. If it ever got lost maybe that would help when I report the loss. It would certainly help if all I had to do was know the number.

I've never been asked except maybe the first time 10 years ago just hand over your passport they scan put a new paper and off you go

It's stapled in my passport so I never really know if they ever look at it when I hand over my passport. It is hard to know what advice to give about this. Taking a photo solves the problem of forgetting the number.

90 day report uses a paper with a barcode after your first report so no problem

I understand that but he did ask if he had to show it on every report

the bar code reader isn't gonna help all the much if you lost your TM6 card :(

Most offices still do require you fill out the TM47 form which does mean you need to know what your TM6 departure card number is, as does the online 90 day reporting program :)

I don't think you're going to be able to go straight to a year extension based on marriage from an Elite visa (because it's NOT a Non-Immigrant type visa).

You KEEP the TM6 departure card in your passport and you use that number when you fill out the form to file a 90 day report. So no it never becomes irrelevant so don't lose it
