If you’re a long time stay in Thailand and have a Thai Bank account why not just transfer X amount if money for a onetime fee into your Thai Bank and then withdrawals from ATMs are free.

Traveling during these times is more expensive preparing for the trip, during the trip in and out of quarantine is more than the trip is worth. Just stay your butt at home.

I’ve been here since 1999 and everywhere you go no matter what it is you’re going to get a different answer or reason. Just go with the flow and move on to the next location. No sense getting your panties in a bunch, it’s the Thai way.

I don’t know about today but for me years ago I opened in my name three bank accounts with a tourist visa. Thai Farmers Bank in Ubon, Bangkok Bank in Udorn and Kung Thai Bank in Warin.
