My agent in Chiang Mai charges me about 12,500, which includes multi entry and 90 day reporting. I would find another agent.

The US embassy will give you one until the end of the year, and they last six months, but there is nothing to say whether the Thais will accept it

David Dillion plans for the worst and hope for the best. I am due in Sept 2019 and am now putting the 65k in the bank. I will know eventually if it is going to work, but I don't want to find out in six months I should have started now, if you know what I mean.
