On May 29th 2019 Wife and I get to end of each of our two year stay on the USA Passport non o-a that we each have. Looking at postings I gather the following.
USA are still doing income affidavits until 31 December 2018 (corrected).
These affidavits are valid for 6 months with Thai IM for renewal. Correct?
Can the affidavits be issued at Chiang Mai consulate or does it have to be BKK Embassy?
Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation discusses the availability of income affidavits issued by the U.S. Embassy and Consulate for U.S. passport holders on NON-OA visas in Thailand, emphasizing the deadlines and validity period of these affidavits. Participants confirm that the affidavits are valid for 6 months and must be requested by December 31, 2018, with inquiries about the possibility of obtaining them at the Chiang Mai consulate versus the Bangkok embassy.

The above says Chiang Mai DOES Notarize Income Affidavits...
The Consular Section of the U.S. Embassy in Bangkok is pleased to offer a full-day of notary services on Thursday, December 20, 2018. Service will be provided by appointment only. There will be approximately 400 notarial appointments available. Please visit us here to make an appointment.
NOTICE: Beginning January 1, 2019, U.S. Embassy Bangkok and U.S. Consulate General Chiang Mai will no longer provide the income affidavit. We will not notarize previous versions of the income affidavit. For more information, please refer to our Fact Sheet (PDF 266KB) and Frequently Asked Questions (PDF 419KB). We will continue to notarize income affidavit forms through the end of 2018. Thai Immigration Bureau officials confirmed that they will support early visa renewals for U.S. citizens during the transition period.

The US Embassy stop issuing them on 31 Dec 2018. Due to the applications they made extra appointments possible to get one, I would say get in touch with the Consulate to arrange this asap.

I thought it was Dec 31 2018 unless I read the information wrongly.
