not quite Thai Visa, but related. My partner has Thai and USA passports. Can she leave Thailand for Australia on the Thai passport, arrive and leave Aust with the US passport, and return to Thailand on the Thai passport? I have heard things have changed in the last 12 months too. thanks if allowed

TLDR : Answer Summary
A Thai national can exit Thailand using a Thai passport and enter Australia with a US passport, returning to Thailand on the Thai passport. However, there may be concerns about immigration upon return due to lacking entry stamps in the Thai passport.

As the O/P has seen it is entirely possible for a thai national to exit thailand on a thai passport and enter another country on a different passport when flying and do the reverse when coming back into thailand..

As it is not related to thai visas, we're done. (y)

Won’t it raise alarm bells with immigration on return because there will be no stamp showing where she went in the Thai passport

I have a us and canadian passport. I often use one to get in and another when leaving. I use my Canadian passport to travel worldwide depending where I’m headed. Some border agents see both my passports though.
