Great Post, and you are

0% on target. I have been a member for 32 years and use NFCU exclusively.

Why would anyone with half a brain risk having problems, rather than paying for an extension to avoid problems. After all, it doesn't break the bank to get the extension. People trying to skirt the system cause the problems for those of us that live here and obey the laws of the land.

You can go to immigration and they will copy your visa and 90 day due date. Give you a copy and tell you to come in with it if your passport isn't done. That is what I did.

Would recommend sending it to your bank in your home country, with info on the back, For Deposit Only. My experience here, is that it takes a minimum 45 days to clear, then sometimes they don't Must pay a fee also. Good luck.

In Udon Thani immigration office, you have the option when you get your extension to stay of a single entry, or buying a multiple-entry for 3800 baht. If you get a single entry, you can leave the country and come back with no problem. If you choose to leave the country again, before your next extension, you can go to immigration and purchase a single entry for 1000 baht. I used to always get a multiple entry and the time of my extension, but during COVD , I got a single. When I renew in Jan, I will go back to the multiple entry. Never any issues. I did this in March this year when my daughter was here. We visited Lao. Went to immigration and bought a single entry upon our return from Lao. No issues.

You can use the
*****
per month option, but it must be for a period of at least 12 months prior to applying. You are showing a Non O-A, which requires you to have health insurance, where a Non O does not. While insurance is always good to have, most companies I have spoken with, drop you after a certain age.

Get 1 year extension to stay, which most call Retirement Visa. Renew it annually. I have been doing this for 8 years. Have the 800k in the bank, and never any issues. Same for my friends. Immigration in Udon seems very helpful. Good luck.

I got a Non O from the Thai embassy in Korea. Took 1 day. Piece of cake.
