Don't forget to do a border bounce a day or two before Visa expiry date and get the "free" second year. A lot less painful than getting an extension

How many times can I extend my 30-day visa while border hopping to Laos, and what's the minimum stay requirement outside Thailand?

If you're border bouncing to Laos there's no minimum requirement to stay out of the country, but the 30 day stamp can only be extended 30 days, not 90. Maximum two land border crossings in a year
