Just an FYI here , bone Spurs can require surgery depending on the size and location , if pain meds and physical therapy don’t help. Look up any USA guide on bone spur treatment and surgery. The Thai orthopedic surgeon likely thought it’s better to just remove the excess bone now then rather than suffer with it. But it’s incorrect to call the surgery not necessary. You refusing a suggested treatment doesn’t mean it’s not necessary.

Does your layover require you to exit the airport ? If you leave and return to an airport that would possibly reset the 72 hr limit

a diplomatic passport is when you travel to another country for state relations or to work with the government of that country.

If you enter Thailand on a diplomatic passport , you can get a free covid-19 test on arrival.

I mean typically you should be quarantining yourself 7 days before traveling to avoid the chance of testing positive …. If you are doing that the chances of a positive test are very low.

does the investment visa count as a non immigrant visa that could be eligible for permanent residency in the future ? I am aware perm res is not guaranteed, but I know for example the elite visa is never eligible for it.
