I think I will tell my friend to proceed to savanakhet to apply for his Non o marriage visa. 1 more thing Stephen, is it possible to apply 1 year Visa straight away or most it be 3 months only is available at the embassy. A friend of mine applied at non o visa at Thai embassy in vientiane and they took his documents and told him thus is his first time he's applying for non o visa for thst he has to wait for 1 months .they told him they will call him after 1 month . They give him his passport back and take only his marriage certificate with other documents. Can he go to savanketh to apply ? I need some advisa thanks

he has all his paper work, he has his marriage certificate as well. He came to apply his marriage visa at Thailand embassy in vientiane but they took his documents and told him to wait for a 1 months

HE RESIDE IN LAOS AND HE HAS HIS RESIDENT AND WORK PERMIT IN LOAS . BUT THE ONLY ISSUE IS THE STAFF THAT WORK IN THAILAND EMBASSY IN VIENTIANE RECIEVE THE DOCUMENTS AND TOLD HIM TO WAIT FOR HIS MARRIGE DOCUMENTS VERIFICATION WHICH WILL TAKE ABOUT 1 MONTHS FROM MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS THAILAND. FROM THE DOCUMENTS HE SUBMITTED THE QR CODE FROM MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS IS IN THE DOCUMENTS THAT'S MAKE HIM UNCOMFORTABLE WHY IS IT 1 MONTH TO VERIFY THE DOCUMENTS..
