ya I want to do it the right way, I don’t want to border run, or worry one day they catch me and I have to leave, I want to retire in peace, elite visa is my best but, was trying to find a cheaper way but safe is more important. I do appreciate everyone’s feedback.

US dollars, have the cash but was wondering about other options, someone suggested a education visa, all I have to do is take a class maybe learn Thai for the first 5 years then apply for the retirement visa. There has to be an easier and cheaper way, that is also legal, I don’t want to get in trouble in Thailand.
