ya I want to do it the right way, I don’t want to border run, or worry one day they catch me and I have to leave, I want to retire in peace, elite visa is my best but, was trying to find a cheaper way but safe is more important. I do appreciate everyone’s feedback.

that’s what it’s sounds like. Wanted to avoid the elite visa but it looks like the best option now

I’ve been told to go with education visa then when I turn 50 get the retirement visa. Just looking for a second opinion.

looked into the elite visa it 0 baht or US dollars, have the cash but was wondering about other options, someone suggested a education visa, all I have to do is take a class maybe learn Thai for the first 5 years then apply for the retirement visa. There has to be an easier and cheaper way, that is also legal, I don’t want to get in trouble in Thailand.
